In the Preferences dialog you will able to set default values for scan limits. Then, when starting new site scans your site information will be filled with this default values.
In the Connection box you can setup the application to use a proxy server. Add in the Proxy address text box, the ip and port of your proxy server.
The Navigator behavior section:
Read content form the cache
DRKSpider will read computer's cache while scanning the site. This option will usually be off since computer's cache may differ from the actuall site's content .
Write downloaded content to the cache
DRKSpider will add all downloaded files to the computers cache. This option will be useful for later manual site navigation if you have low bandwith connection.
Do not send referrer request field
DRKSpider will not send referrer information to the web server. Do not activate this option unless you know what it means. Some web servers or sites may refuse to work without referrer information.
Connection timeout
Is the time in seconds DRKSpider will wait the web server to reply the request before giving up and report a conection error.
In the HTML validator section you can stop the HTML sintax errors from being reported in the tree. You will be allway able to get the HTML report in the Link properties dialog box.
